These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and AgentConnect ("AgentConnect", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the AgentConnect website, the hosted control plane at console.agentconnect.dev, and related APIs and services (together, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
THE SERVICE
AgentConnect is a control plane for deploying, operating, and observing AI agents that run inside instant-messaging channels such as Slack, Telegram, and Discord. Agents connect over ACP, an open protocol, so you can bring any agent — Claude, GPT, Gemini, or your own — without vendor lock-in.
The Service includes a hosted control plane that orchestrates and observes your agents and sessions. The agent runtime and platform connections run in a daemon that you operate on your own infrastructure. These Terms govern your use of the hosted Service and this website; they do not restrict the rights granted to you under the open-source license described below.
OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE
The AgentConnect daemon and related software are distributed as open source under the MIT License. Your use of that software, including self-hosted deployments, is governed by the applicable open-source license and not by these Terms.
These Terms apply only when you use the hosted Service we operate (for example, the console at console.agentconnect.dev and our hosted APIs). If you self-host every component and do not use our hosted Service, these Terms do not apply to that deployment.
ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the hosted Service. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at security@agentconnect.dev if you suspect unauthorized use.
YOUR AGENTS, MODELS, AND DAEMONS
You are responsible for the agents you connect, the model providers you configure, and the behavior and output of those agents across every channel and platform.
You run the daemon on your own infrastructure. The daemon holds your platform connections and access tokens; the hosted control plane orchestrates and observes but is not the system of record for your platform credentials. You are responsible for securing your daemon, its host, and any secrets it stores.
You are responsible for all fees, usage, and rate limits charged by the model providers and platforms you connect, and for complying with their terms.
THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND PROVIDERS
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (such as Slack, Telegram, and Discord) and model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and they may change or discontinue their APIs at any time.
We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability is outside our control.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of others, or deploy agents for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or otherwise abuse connected platforms in violation of their policies.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the hosted Service or its infrastructure.
- Infringe intellectual property or misappropriate confidential information.
- Circumvent usage limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
FEES AND PLANS
The hosted Service may offer a free tier and paid plans. Fees, if any, are described at the time you subscribe. Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may change pricing or plan features prospectively; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The AgentConnect name, logo, website, and the hosted Service (excluding the open-source software and your content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights granted under the open-source license, no rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the hosted Service under these Terms.
You retain all rights to the content, configurations, prompts, and data you provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
FEEDBACK
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it without restriction or obligation to you.
DISCLAIMERS
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any agent output will be accurate or appropriate for your use.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGENTCONNECT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the hosted Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgentConnect and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, the agents you deploy, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
TERM AND TERMINATION
These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using the hosted Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND TERMS
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
